Why I fell in Love with Cruising~

I fell in love with cruising when my Sister-in law surprised my husband and I with a cruise to the Caribbean. I had been on a cruise way back in the day around 1983 and I really didn’t remember too much about it. So in 2005 when we got the call about the cruise I was so excited. I started researching and figuring out all the fun things we could do while on the cruise. From the moment I stepped foot on that big, beautiful ship I knew that I was hooked. Since then I have been on 7 cruises and have my 8th one planned for the end of 2011.

Cruising can be just about anything you want it to be, from a romantic getaway for two to a huge family reunion. You can do as much or as little as you want, lay out by the pool, take a wine tasting class, eat, play bingo, rock wall climbing, water slides, golf, basketball, comedy shows, casinos, dancing, massages the list goes on. Then there is the decision on where to go. I love helping my customers figure out the perfect cruise for them. My favorite is the blue-green waters of the Caribbean and plan on visiting all the Islands cruise by cruise!

  1. I felt the same way in 1990 when I walked onto the Carnival Fantasy, the first of the so-called “superliners” along with the Sovereign of the Seas. I remember sailing ino the Bahamas on the Dolphin IV, seeing those two, and thinking OMG!

  2. I love your blog about cruising! I agree, cruising is such a great way to travel. It’s like having a floating hotel, where you pack and unpack once, and wake up in a new destination every day. We cruised through the Greek Isles and it was fabulous! Thanks for sharing- you’ve made me want to go again!
